Since 1980, Vincent Gray Academy (formerly Vincent Gray Alternative High School) has been providing free, private education for students who live on the margins of poverty in the East St. Louis area. Vincent Gray is not affiliated with any other agency or organization and raises all funds needed each year to carry out is programs and mission. Over the past thirty years Vincent Gray has provided quality education to over three hundred students who otherwise would not have earned high school diplomas.
