About Vindication Films

Vindication Films is a woman and minority owned production company. It was created in 2017 by two filmmakers from Arizona, Jayde Anderson and Melvin Deer. They are known for films Central Office (2017), Shtriga (2019), Cope Documentary (2020), and Mother's Gift (2021). Our Mission is to develop stories of all genres with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity while uplifting the skill and passion of independent film-craft artists. We celebrate the independent film’s capability for innovative expression and capacity to challenge visual storytelling norms. We will pursue character-driven, emotionally charged films that inspire, transcend, and cause reflection on the human spirit to those who watch our films.
