About Vino Indiana
A Rich Heritage Based on Our Italian Roots Vino Indiana offers a rich heritage in the wine industry. Originating in Sicilia, Italy our family began wine-producing in the mid-1800s until arriving to America in the early 1900s to settle in the Midwest. Although time and distance had separated us from our European ancestors, we reconnected in 2008 after a full generation had passed. This inspired us to return to our roots and being importing Italian wines into the United States. In 2012, Vino Indiana was founded. Our operations started with two employees and representation of two wineries while offering a modest six varietals to a handful of customers in Northeast Indiana. Since that time, we’ve worked tirelessly to grow our business through a diversified portfolio of products. In 2016, we added spirits and drink mixer products to our portfolio of offerings. Following in late 2017, we joined the rise of ready to drink wine and distilled spirits to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and the markets we serve. Today, Vino Indiana consists of nearly 20 employees and represents over 50 wineries and distilleries from around the world. We partner with hundreds of customers throughout the State of Indiana to supply over 300 varietals of wine. We’ve also developed many of our own private label wines which we import from Italy.
