VIP, the Association of Val Venosta producers of fruit and vegetables, has been one of the most important agricultural cooperatives for the worldwide commercialization of apples since 1990. Both the integrated and organic production method perfectly harmonize with its values of highest product quality and respect for the nature. VIP has more than 1500 producers united in 7 member cooperatives in Val Venosta. Since September 2019, the Juval cooperative has been dedicated to organic products only and has thus become on of the most important and most modern processing plant for organic apples in Europe in terms of storage and packaging capacity. The Val Venosta production area covers a total area of 5,000 hectares with an average production area of about 3 hectares per producer. Passion and professionalism of the producers, the special microclimate of a mountain valley ideal for apple production, respect for the environment and production methods in harmony with nature enable VIP to offer apples of the highest quality that grow in a production area that aims at becoming the most sustainable production area in all of Europe. Val Venosta Apples travel around the world: With a harvest of around 320,000 tons on average during the last five years, Val Venosta Apples are not only sold in Italy, the main market, but also in more than 50 countries worldwide. VIP markets its own Val Venosta, Bio Val Venosta and Amélie brands but also club apples such as envy™, Kanzi®, Ambrosia™, Natyra®, yello® and Bonita. All commercialized apples are a guarantee of controlled origin from Val Venosta and complete traceability.
