VAMFT is the professional home for licensed marriage and family therapists, residents in MFT, MFT students, and mental health professionals who practice from a systemic perspective. We are dedicated to advancing the profession through advocacy, education, and community-building. Our mission is to support and elevate marriage and family therapists by maintaining high ethical standards, promoting inclusivity and cultural competence, and increasing public awareness of the critical role MFTs play in mental health care.
