Virmurco Sustainable Wood Products We are passionate about sustainably harvesting and maintaining one of our greatest natural resources. Virmurco is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Genuine Mahogany lumber from one of the largest self-sustaining, bio-diverse agroforestry projects in Southeast Asia. Virmurco, Inc. was established in 1973 as an importer and processor of coconut, and in support of organizations involved in those agricultural industries in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Founded by Virgil Murray, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force and veteran of 51 combat flight missions in World War II, Virmurco embodies his drive and entrepreneurial spirit while maintaining its vision of creating sustainable value and infrastructure development through agriculture. Our current focus is the growth of sustainable and bio-diverse forestry initiatives through the market development of their unique products. We believe consumers will choose to preserve the natural beauty and necessary benefits that trees provide, and will join us in this effort to preserve these forests for future generations.
