The Virtual ASL Academy, VASLA, is a visually accessible, native language access approach to tutoring, coaching, mentoring and related support services for deaf children and adults in sign language. This organization is created by deaf people, for deaf people, with educating and supporting deaf people as our goal. We want to see VASLA grow from providing tutoring, coaching and transition services for deaf children and adults, who have been the most impacted by the ongoing pandemic, and evolve into the Virtual ASL Academy: an accredited fully online, accessible secondary school for the deaf.
