About Virtual Horizons Charter School
Virtual Horizons Charter School of Utah is one of the first charter schools in the nation to be set entirely in virtual reality. Students access a virtual galaxy of experiential learning wherever they live. VHCS fosters inclusivity, innovation, and holistic development to support the growth and achievement of every student. We are a Utah public school and do not charge tuition. Instruction is held in the virtual realm where students learn synchronously with teachers and classmates AND asynchronously through 1000's of virtual reality simulations, experiments, field trips, and experiences. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to compete in today's world and beyond.
