About Visit Alentejo - ARPTA

The Alentejo promotion Office was founded in 2004 and has been a collaboration between the public and private sectors since its creation. Over these two decades it has worked to promote tourism on different fronts and in international markets. The region's tourism promotion efforts have included participation in trade fairs and other events in the sector, continuous presentation of the destination to Tour Operators, Travel Agents and Journalists through the organisation of Fam and Press Trips, participation in B2B workshops and, keeping up with the times, investment in a strong online presence, both through the production of our own content and the management of social networks in the various markets. We also promote campaigns on OTA's and other platforms that allow us to take the Alentejo brand further and, above all, bring business to the region. We are the common house of tourism in the Alentejo and builders of a network of companies in the tourism sector operating in the Alentejo.
