We have approximately 400 physicians on staff who cover the full range of medical care, including advanced procedures such as open-heart surgery and complex neurosurgery. Our staff includes the growing Vista Physician Group of about 30 primary care providers and specialists who see patients in our hospitals, outpatient facilities and practice offices throughout Lake County. At the same time, we are investing in our future with new and expanded facilities. Some examples include our Freestanding Emergency Center and Medical Office Building on our Lindenhurst campus, while at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan we’ve opened our completely renovated 2W Patient Care Unit. Plus, we continue to add the latest in leading-edge technology, such as the da Vinci® Xi Surgical System for robotic-assisted surgery.
