For nearly 20 years, Vista Taos Renewal Center, nestled on a mesa in the shadow of the sacred Taos Mountain, has been dedicated to helping individuals and their families begin the journey of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Vista Taos offers a unique combination of program elements that cannot be found at any other treatment facility and are the reason for our success in addiction treatment. Our 18 person capacity provides a personalized experience and creates the foundation for the fellowship, sponsorship, and trust involved in twelve step program success. Our week-long family program is designed to provide education, awareness, and insight into addiction and codependency and its impact on the family. The involvement and participation of family members, spouses, and partners during family week is a key factor in patient success. Our holistic approach to treating our patients works on strengthening the mind, body, and spirit. Patients are introduced to a variety of holistic therapies, recovery and spiritual activities so they may find which will work best in supporting their recovery.
