About Vista Window and Door

Vista Window and Door originated in the 1980s on Church Ave under the guidance of John and Connie Cappello. Initially, they provided various fenestration products and services. Over time, EJC Window Parts and Service, as well as WindowFix, emerged as spin-offs from Vista. WindowFix initially concentrated heavily on repairs, glass, parts, and screens, with window installation comprising only 20% of its operations. Today, WindowFix has evolved into an independent entity specializing in comprehensive window installation services for complex projects like landmark renovations, curtainwall installations, full building replacements, and new constructions. After witnessing decades of client struggles due to improperly installed windows, doors, curtainwall, and window wall systems—especially in new construction projects with inadequate water management—Vista has decided to shift its focus to waterproofing facades and rough openings. This initiative includes offering a 25-year warranty against water infiltration by utilizing systems from Waterproofing, Dry Sill, and OSI. In honor of his parents’ legacy, Ernesto Cappello, Vista’s CEO, launched Vista Window and Door with a specific emphasis on correct installation techniques and waterproofing methodologies.
