Our vision is to be a leader in the next generation of orthopedic care, by focusing on cartilage regeneration and empowering young patients with osteoarthritis to stay active and healthy. We’re developing a medical device to be used both as a standalone treatment for osteoarthritis and in combination with other emerging technologies to optimise patient outcomes. The journey begins with knee osteoarthritis, of which 365 million people suffer worldwide; 37% are under 65-years-old, too young for joint replacement, and fall into a treatment gap of ineffective care. Symptoms of the disease have been described as “pain worse than death”. These patients want to keep their natural joints and maintain peak physical performance.
