In December 2022, VITOM Inc. was spun off from Motiv Research Co., a company founded in 2011 that provides technical consulting services for mobile communication networks for major telecommunications carriers, to develop 3D scanners and other digital We are developing 3D scanners and other digital twin-related products. We have received inquiries from various industries, including Japan's leading construction industry customers, and have also developed a monitoring system called "Vitom Owl" as a separate product from the 3D scanner. This system performs safety monitoring and real-time 3D mapping at the same time, and can be used for progress analysis and digital surveying, especially at construction sites where the monitored area changes gradually. The system can also monitor and send out alarms for congestion at events, etc., and can accurately detect traffic congestion that cannot be followed by the human eye. By developing and marketing such 3D mapping technology, we hope to help companies that wish to engage in DX strategies.
