About VKCSF Vancouver Korean-Canadian Scholarship Foundation

The Vancouver Korean-Canadian Scholarship Foundation (VKCSF) is a charitable non-profit organization that provides scholarships to qualified students with Korean heritage and connects them to previous VKCSF scholarship recipients and industry leaders. Scholarship recipients are selected based on achievement in academic or vocational training, active involvement and leadership in the community, personal essay, reference letter, and financial need*. Donors can set up a scholarship named after an individual, organization, or in memory of someone and add preferred additional evaluation criteria such as specific post-secondary institution, area of study, association, membership, and high financial needs (some conditions apply). *Financial need is an optional submission to be used only when boosting the overall evaluation score or matching to specific donors with related additional evaluation criteria. If a donor wishes, a portion of a larger donation can be carried over into the future year along with an unused general donation of the year. To participate in this meaningful work together, any contribution amount is welcome as a one-time or monthly donation. A tax-deductible donation receipt will be issued.
