About VMF

Créée en 1958 par Anne de Amodio et reconnue d’utilité publique en 1963, les VMF se consacrent à la sauvegarde et à la mise en valeur du patrimoine bâti et paysager depuis près de 60 ans. L’association : Présidée par Xavier Marin, l’association rassemble près de 18 000 adhérents, propriétaires ou passionnés, au sein de 95 délégations départementales. Les délégués aident et conseillent leurs adhérents en matière de restauration, assurances, fiscalité, montage de dossier de protection. Ils ont aussi des relations suivies avec les pouvoirs publics locaux et siègent dans les commissions compétentes en matière de patrimoine, d’environnement, d’urbanisme. Le magazine : Dès 1959, l’association créé le magazine VMF dans le but de faire découvrir de manière engagée la diversité du patrimoine en France. Depuis 2012, six numéros par an sont édités et proposent chacun un dossier de 50 pages portant sur le patrimoine d’une région ou d’une ville en France. Ils se font également le relai des débats de l’actualité, ou encore des actions menées par des passionnés du patrimoine. La fondation : Créée pour prolonger les missions de l’association, la Fondation VMF permet aux propriétaires de trouver une aide pour le financement de travaux de restauration. Elle poursuit trois objectifs : la conduite de projets de sauvetage du patrimoine en péril, le soutien aux artisans, la réalisation d’inventaires du patrimoine dans le monde.
