About VNAB
The VNAB [Netherlands Insurance Exchange Association] is the Dutch sector organisation for the corporate insurance market. Our members provide insurance solutions combined with risk management consultancy for extensive and complex risks. The VNAB represents the sector’s interests by facilitating the market by her IT systems (e-ABS, Sanctiepl@tform, iDOSpl@tform and MIS), promoting the development and transfer of knowledge, addressing social and commercial themes and developing and communicating a relevant vision and by pursuing an active policy on the sector’s reputation. The VNAB supports its members in their success in the corporate insurance market based on three strategic pillars. Market supervision With her IT systems the VNAB enables its members to serve their customers in the best way. The VNAB keeps investing in her IT systems to have a state-of-the-art trade platform in place for its users. The VNAB acts as opinion-maker and is quick to respond to changes in the market. The role of market supervisor also includes making sure that agreed rules of conduct and other rules of the game are regularly updated and complied with. Knowledge A rapidly developing market requires a continuous supply of up-to-date information. The VNAB shares up-to-date and relevant information with its members by making it accessible. In order to realise this, knowledge and knowledge management play a key role. This pillar is divided into the following three levels: Professional skills, Innovation and People & Society. Meeting and connecting The VNAB knowledge and meeting centre is located in Rotterdam. The centre of the corporate insurance market where professionals meet each other, work together and share their knowledge. All facilities provided by the centre are available to VNAB members and associate participants, such as conference rooms, an event floor with audiovisual equipment and catering services.
