About Vocational College of Hospitality and Tourism Maribor
Vocational College for Hospitality and Tourism Maribor was founded in 1998 as one of the first higher education institutions in Slovenia. Two main educational programs are implemented: Catering & tourism and Wellness. The school premises are very well equipped, ensuring quality teaching process for both, students and teachers, and other employees. A component part of the institute is our Fine Dining Restaurant Seven, which operates within the school where students undergo their practical training. With numerous activities and overall integration, VSGT Maribor is a well-respected partner in international networks. We are active members of several international associations: - International association of leading hotel schools EURHODIP - European association of hotel and tourism schools AEHT - Coupe Georges Baptiste - World association of hotel schools EUHOFA INTERNATIONAL - Association of hotel schools from the Alpine area EUHOFA ALPINA - La Fondation pour la Formation Hôtelière - Maîtres Cuisiniers de France International networking is the key aspect of VSGT Maribor enabling us to work qualitatively as well as guiding us to improve the existing activities and develop new working methods. Thus, we encourage and maintain our development and the development of hospitality and tourism sector at home and abroad.
