About Volk Bikes

We aim to manufacture sustainable, high-performance bicycles and bicycle frames, of the people for the people. We aim to manufacture our bicycles, and bicycle frames using the most technologically advanced environmentally regenerative processes available with the objective of building a complete bicycle using 99% sustainable materials for the 99%. The 99% – We believe that in order to really make an impact on the betterment of the entire planet our product needs to be accessible to the majority of its population. We plan to produce our first run of frames at a very competitive price point for a custom, hand-built hardwood frame and will only sell directly to the public in order to keep our pricing as accessible as possible. We do however believe that bikes are for everybody and to this end, we will endeavor to ultimately produce a complete bicycle made of 99% sustainable materials for the 99%, to be a little more specific, in the near future we would like to produce a complete bicycle consisting mainly of sustainable materials and at the US$1000 price point. And finally, as a company, our ultimate goal is to help improve the lives of those around us, through creating employment for people from disadvantaged backgrounds, social programmes, and ecological regeneration programmes. Ultimately my own personal mission statement is to turn the company into a CoOperative as soon as it is viable to do so. In short, A Bike Of The People, For The People.
