About Volland Electric Equipment
Volland Electric was founded in Buffalo, NY in 1943 and remains a locally owned and operated company. Started as an electric motor and transformer repair/rewind shop by Alexander Volland, the firm has diversified greatly over the years and is thriving as a result. Our core businesses include electro-mechanical repair, engineering and product distribution. Over the years the company has diversified into power transmission products, electrical controls and motors, the sale and service of cranes and hoists, welders, transformers, magnets, pumps, switchgear, as well a Master Distribution Center for many related repair parts lines. The Volland Electric Controls Division fabricates process control panels and performs PLC programming. The solid-state department services, troubleshoots and installs variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other electronic equipment. In support of motor repair operations, the company also employs a highly capable machine shop, and we rewind AC & DC electric motors.
