WE ARE REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS, OWNERS, AND OPERATORS Founded in 2015, our team has developed from the ground-up, acquired or improved over 3,000,000 square feet of self-storage, multifamily, and hospitality assets, and counting. We have repeatedly demonstrated our ability to identify promising markets, and then take raw land or underutilized buildings that other investors ignored, and turn them into highly-valued and sought-after developments. Beyond being financially rewarding, these transformations provide significant benefits to the well-being of the people and communities we serve. We are not like most real estate developers or private equity firms. We don't manage a fund with outside investors, so we never need to exit our investments within a finite window of time, giving us the flexibility to pursue strategies and business plans that many other investors simply can’t. We are not “flippers”—we know our properties and our markets deeply, and we invest with conviction for the long term. Because we prefer to own our properties for the very long term, we also prefer to operate them directly, both in the US and in Europe through our 1Box Self Storage subsidiary. This enables complete control over the level of service we deliver for our tenants and holds ourselves to the highest standards for the various constituencies we serve. While we often use our very experienced in-house operations team to self-manage, we also have and will continue to partner selectively with best-in-class third party managers across our asset classes.
