VOOB Healthcare (Vård och Omsorgsbolaget (VOOB) AB) is actively engaged in efforts to alleviate the critical shortage of nurses in Sweden. Specializing in the recruitment and training of Indian nurses, we fulfill a crucial role in bridging the gap between talent and demand in the Swedish healthcare sector by facilitating the placement of skilled professionals in nursing homes, hospitals, and various healthcare institutions nationwide. Sweden faces a severe shortage of qualified healthcare professionals, particularly impacting healthcare in remote areas. Of the country’s approximately 210,000 licensed nurses, only about 128,000 are actively working. Projections indicate an additional 33,000 nurses and 93,000 assistant nurses will be needed by 2031 to meet rising demands, presenting a significant staffing challenge that risks worsening due to Sweden’s demographic development. Recognizing the urgency of the situation and leveraging the strong connections between India and Sweden within our organization, VOOB Healthcare specializes in recruiting top-tier Indian nurses for seamless integration into the Swedish healthcare system. In addition to a highly qualitative recruitment process, we closely collaborate with specialized and authorized Swedish teachers in language training, ensuring that our nurses are proficient in the Swedish language and culture. Furthermore, our mentorship program, facilitated by experienced Swedish nurses, guides the Indian nurses in their transition into the Swedish healthcare system, fostering a comforting and qualitative experience.
