Vood was born in 2019 when Joao Reis, the brand’s CEO, started manufacturing the first innovative and contemporary design fashion accessories with an unusual material: wood with flexible properties. 2020 was a year of hard changes around the world. It was also a year of reflexion and evolutionary work, allowing the planning and designing of a whole clothing and shoe collection. And so VOOD introduced in 2021 in its clothing and shoe line unique details in wooden fabric aligned with the modern concept of sustainability and binding the fabric to other meticulously selected raw materials with reduced environmental impact. Our passion for uniqueness, comfort, elegance and individuality, from the first sketch to the final product, allows the creation of items that tell stories inspired by knowledge, technique and experience. The experience and agile hands of our craftsmen, the care and attention for detail of our seamstresses and the dedication of all VOOD’s staff spread love to each individual item crafted for the most demanding customers in the world.
