About VoteRiders

Voter ID laws could deny millions of American citizens their right to vote. VoteRiders helps voters get the ID information and documents needed to make their voices heard at the ballot box. VoteRiders is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. Founded in 2012, our programs include: 1) Voter ID Assistance: Helping eligible voters every step of the way to get the ID they need to vote, Including information and practical assistance with transportation, documentation, and costs of securing ID to vote. 2) Voter ID Education and Outreach: We inform people about voter ID requirements and clarify the widespread confusion about voter ID , its relationship to voter registration, and other voting rights issues. 3) On-the-Ground Partnerships: We partner with local organizations to identify, inform and help voters with voter ID, especially those most at risk of losing their right to vote. 4) Volunteer Programs: Our volunteers help spread the word about voter ID laws via virtual text-banking, letter-writing, phone calls, and more. They also are trained to support our Helpline and Chatbot operations and to help voters obtain ID.
