Vox Legis was founded in 2023 by a group of students who wanted to increase transparency around the practice of law. Our goals are simple: (1) Reduce barriers to entry for students and junior lawyers without an existing network by sharing insights from industry professionals; (2) Empower law firms and lawyers alike to make strategic decisions about their practices by democratizing data on practice management; and (3) Improve general knowledge and awareness of the law by publishing free educational content on a variety of legal subjects. That's why Vox Legis operates as an independent not-for-profit, though we welcome support from law firms to improve our data and encourage their lawyers to contribute content or complete our surveys.
