About Vranch House Limited
Vranch House is a longstanding children's charity with a clinical department providing outpatient services to children across Exeter, Mid, East and North Devon, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, orthotics services and paediatric consultant appointments. We also have a special school in Exeter for children with significant physical difficulties aged 0-19yrs. The school caters for 56 children in Exeter and the surrounding areas, and the charity has approximately 1500 outpatients from across Devon accessing clinical services each year. We also have a clinical base at Barnstaple Health Centre (Vranch House Children’s Physiotherapy North Devon) and physiotherapists and therapy assistants based at a range of special school including Pathfield, Ellen Tinkham and Millwater schools and the Deaf Academy. We provide physiotherapy on the neonatal units at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and at North Devon District Hospital. Our unique charity brings together the best of the voluntary and public sectors to deliver first class services to an important part of our community; children and young people with a wide range of disabilities and physical difficulties who deserve the very best we can provide. Vranch House is a very special example of how children and young people with physical disabilities, members of the public and professional experts combine to achieve more together than they could apart.
