About VT1 Martial Arts Academy

VT1 Academy has a diverse range of martial arts choices available to its members. However we have ensured that each class is coached by experts in their fields. There are no jack of all trades and each coach is highly experienced and motivated to share their passion for the Martial Arts and fitness. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is that of a big family. Currently the Academy has 3 fully matted training areas, programs for Women, Teens, Children, Adults and Professional fighters and a team of experts leading each class. VT1 Academy was established in the year 2000 by two brothers with one goal in mind, to create Australia’s best Martial Arts training centre. Their goal was to make Mixed Martial Arts (as seen in the UFC), Gracie Jiu Jitu and Muay Thai accessible to everyone, no matter how young or old. Dylan was a world Muay Thai champion and Liam a MMA fighter and Gracie Jiu Jitsu champion. Together they traveled the world and worked their way from a small scout hall into what is now Australia’s best premier Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness Centre. The goal from the beginning was to provide the best training from around the world and have a family atmosphere where Professional fighters can train side by side with regular people who are just trying to get in shape and enjoy learning the martial arts. The Academy is now regularly visited by Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and MMA world champions and UFC fighters who wish to share their knowledge with fans and future generations of champions.
