Women bring unique value to the workplace – but fully unlocking it requires a specific kind of support. Woven offers virtual circles for women who are or want to be mothers. We work with companies ready to acknowledge and invest in the unique needs of working mothers today. The result? Employers are better able to attract top talent, retain employees post-maternity leave, and increase job satisfaction overall. Because when mothers are truly supported in specific ways, they can bring their best selves to work. Work with us in two ways: (1) Host a private circle for employees during or after work, and/or (2) Cover the cost for employees to attend on their own time Our primary offering, called MotherCircle, is a series of 8 virtual gatherings designed to help women process their motherhood experiences in community. It takes a holistic approach to building community over time, covering topics like work, the nervous system, the body, birth, and much more. In each session, employees are led through structured sessions that include mindfulness practices, discussion prompts and tangible resources for ongoing support. Circles benefit employees who are: • Mothers or want to be mothers, by birth or adoption • Preparing for or returning to work post-maternity leave • Trying to conceive or grieving a loss of any kind • Female leaders and managers of women/mothers • Parenting as a single mother or a step-mother • Freezing eggs or unsure if they want to start a family • In a caretaking role of any kind • Struggling to balance work and family life Policy is important, but supporting women in the workplace means more than just paid leave.
