He has strong writing, research and analytical skills. that enables him to be in a position of providing advice and recommendations to senior executives, managers and editors, on current media and communication issues affecting them. Having worked as a journalist and editor for various newspapers and magazine, he is also a media strategist with links and strong relationships with the media in South Africa and internationally. During his media career, Patrick received the Achievement Award for Courageous Reporting as a journalist from the Black Management Forum. After 14 years, Patrick took his media expertise into the corporate sector as a Communication Manager, handling not only external, but also internal Communication for International and JSE listed companies such as Absa Group, BHP Billiton and South32. He was also involved in the Change Management communication that took place at these companies. Patrick is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner, (CPRP) attained through the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA). He is also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)
