WHO WE ARE: Wagons-Lits Diffusion was created in 1996 by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL) with the mission of controlling the historical brands and intellectual property rights derived from CIWL past activities. Wagons-Lits' most famous train was the Orient-Express created in 1883. Our objective is to maintain intact this inspiring brand image. We have a strategy aimed at controlling all products bearing our logos, such as luxury accessories, games, multimedia, publishing, co-branding or promotional campaigns. We manage a portfolio of on-going licensing contracts. Apart from our famous brands and logos, we dispose of more than 6000 archives photos in digital format, including the archives of the famous Orient-Express luxury train. *** We also own and manage the rights of the PLM (Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee), France's major ancient railway company. PLM is still famous today for its 800 poster collection. The PLM poster collection represents all tourist destination in the french Alps and Cote d'Azur 'à la belle époque'. Some PLM visuals are world famous today.
