Walden Equipment is one of Ontario’s largest suppliers of mine hoists, winches, and tuggers. Walden Equipment offers a diversified selection of mine hoisting equipment including man lifting units. Our selection of mine hoists includes the smallest of air up to 85,000 lbs. electric winches. Walden Equipment hoisting services include winch and tugger recertification and testing. We have completed recertification of all the major mining companies including Vale, Xstrata, Goldcorp, Dumas Mining, Redpath Mining, and Cementation to name a few. Walden offers tensioning services for mine rope change out and installation. Walden Equipment has worked in Canada and throughout the United States completing tensioning work and are known as one of the leading tensioning service providers. Walden Equipment host five tensioning units with rope tensioning capabilities up to 3.25” dia. rope. Walden Equipment is well recognized as a leader for rope tensioning services throughout North America. Walden Equipment provides tensioning of up to 60,000lbs and can handle up to 3.25” diameter rope. Our tensioning specialist can complete all your tensioning requirements from rope installation to cable reeling. Walden Equipment has both tensioners to be used for lower tensioning requirements and our larger multi-groove bull wheel tensioners that are used when high tensioning is required. Our multi-groove bull wheel tensioners are skid mounted for ease of movement in various conditions and applications. They are designed to provide positive control of cable released under tension.
