About Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership
The use of restorative approaches is increasing by the day across a wide range of organisations including schools, care homes, local authorities, criminal justice system and workplaces. There is growing political buy in and increasing momentum for the Restorative delivery concept. In Wales, there is a general recognition that Restorative Approaches can be successfully applied to address a wide range of strategic priorities identified by the Welsh Government in key areas including education, community safety, children services and social care. Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership (WRAP), is the umbrella body and best practice hub for restorative approaches and practices in Wales. As a Community Interest Company operating as a multi stakeholder co-operative WRAP seeks to collaborate rather than compete maximising the potential for collaboration and partnership working. WRAP provides services and activities including policy and awareness work, development and delivery of restorative programmes and projects, training, development and networking, consultancy and support and sustainable, bespoke solutions to strategic Welsh issues.
