About WalkGood LA
WalkGood LA is a family-led community wellness 501(c)(3) organization based in Los Angeles that provides healing spaces for underrepresented communities. Recognizing the need for community healing after the racial strife suffered by Black & Brown bodies in 2020 as well as the desire to address so many people’s constant experience of feeling “othered”, WalkGood began providing an inclusive space of healing through community yoga classes, meditations, hikes, run clubs, & other activations throughout LA & beyond. What began as a weekly peaceful protest in June 2020 has now become a multi-faceted, feel-good, healing community with hundreds of members in attendance weekly. WalkGood LA has been featured in the LA Times, Good Morning America, Ebony Magazine, and has partnered with ON, PROPEL, SOULECTION, KIDS OF IMMIGRANTS, HILLMAN GRAD, THE DIVA FOUNDATION, TOPICALS, LA COUNTY PARKS AND REC, & more. WalkGood has also recently opened The WalkGood yard, their own yoga studio and creative wellness space in Mid-City, Los Angeles.
