Walking Point Farms was founded with the express purpose of providing opportunities for returning combat veterans and their families. By leveraging our status as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and our experience in government procurement Walking Point works to exceed the expectations of our customers while allowing them to take satisfaction in the fact that they are helping to support those that have sacrificed so much for their country. Walking Point Farms sources, develops, and blends custom fertilizer and soil amendment mixes for your specific application. We are focused on Biochar value added products such as high quality raw Biochar, seed coatings, compost mixtures, and fertilizer blends. Biochar is a solid material obtained from the pyrolysis or gasification of biomass. The process results in an extremely porous, light weight carbon rich material that can improve water and nutrient retention in soils, in addition to providing numerous environmental benefits. Biochar can be used as a product itself or as an ingredient in blended products, with a range of applications. Biochar products are developed for diverse applications including agriculture, habitat restoration, landscapes, soil reclamation, and gardening. Our Government contracting division specializes in procurement solutions for local, state, and federal government, as well as prime contractors. With more than five years of experience, we are one of the leading providers of agricultural products to the National Cemetery Administration, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
