About Walter Denim

Walter Denim is a denim-focussed fashion brand born in Crouch End, North London. Founded in 2023 with the belief that high-quality contemporary denim can be affordable, responsibly-sourced and fun. Utilising deadstock or end-of-run fabrics from renowned denim mills, new styles are developed instinctively and manufactured in short production runs - all styles are limited edition by nature. Relationships and the knowledge built over twenty years in the industry have helped to create a product we are both proud of and comfortable with. Extremely mindful of the increasing wastefulmess (sic) of the industry and the throwaway culture perpetuated by hyper-fast fashion businesses, we look for existing materials to turn into durable and cherished garments that will live long and age gracefully. Running a lean and agile business model allows us to stay close to our customers and partners, while offering the best possible value in a market where the cost of doing business is spiralling. Our aim is to grow organically, eschewing marketing agencies and paid advertising so we can invest in the product and sustain a family-run business, however hard it may be. Learning as we go, doing things our own way and bringing people together feels like the right way to go about fashion. It should be intuitive, challenging, conversational and above all energising.
