About Wareing Buildings
From the supply of basic kit for steel framed buildings, to complete design and build packages to meet bespoke requirements, our 110 years of experience in the field means we have a unique understanding of how crucial expertly built buildings are to the commercial and agricultural community. Our beginnings were humble, with founders George & James Wareing offering the village of Wrea Green in Fylde their joinery skills by making and repairing farm carts, wheelbarrows and simple farm machinery. Our reputation as the pioneers of ‘The Kit Building’ emerged when we received an enquiry for a building outside of the Lancashire area from a farmer. Too far for our team to travel, it was decided that we would supply the building in kit form and the farmer would find his own labour to construct the building. This was the first kit building of its kind and is still standing 50+ years later. Today, we’re hand-selected by leading names looking for the best service and a friendly approach when it comes to steel framed buildings. Having maintained the same principles we established in 1909, we are now staffed by the fifth generation of the Wareing family and have expanded the scope of our business to include bespoke supply, design and build services. Our structures are used in many different applications from livestock buildings and stables to retail units, industrial premises and offices. Manufacturing components on-site to British Standards of design from our HQ in Preston, we always have been and remain to be, the ‘go-to’ partner for livestock housing, crop and machinery storage, retail units, office blocks and much more.
