The company Warner Shelter Systems Limited (WSSL), has evolved from a venture operating as Warner Shell-Ter Limited out of Winnipeg in 1974. The president and majority shareholder of Warner Shell-Ter Limited was Mr. Kurt Ehrich Warner, P. Eng. In 1979. Warner Shell-Ter Limited moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver. A subsequent move of Warner Shell-Ter to Calgary in 1981 had established the following companies: WSSL, Calgary, Alberta, Anchor Canvas, Vancouver, BC, Hurritent Corporation, Vancouver, BC, Warner Shelter Corp. Vancouver, BC. All companies were identified in the past by the corporate signature of Warner Fabric Structures. Each company was a separate profit centre and was responsible for the orderly and profitable development of the selected target markets; however, WSSL was in charge of the designing, development and manufacturing of all Warner products. From 1981 to 1991 WSSL was selling its famous products, such as the original cross cable high Peak Marquee, the Arabesque and joining system (the saddle like tent /structure that could span in every direction), the Dome and the Modular to Warner Shelter Corp. Kurt Warner P. Eng., president and CEO of WSSL has designed and manufactured quality patented award-winning tents and fabric-clad portable and semi-permanent structures for over 40 years. The WSSL plant is a 70-thousand square feet facility situated on a ten-acre site. Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, WSSL supplies structures to customers worldwide. As an international company, WSSL delivers services in over ten languages.
