About Warrington Welcome
Warrington Welcome (GEB2015), a first-year success seminar, teaches students how to make the most of their college experience. The course is co-taught by a staff member and a trained undergraduate peer leader, allowing students to develop mentoring relationships that last beyond the course. Warrington Welcome provides personal and professional development in the areas of communication skills, teamwork, ethical decision making, critical thinking, community service, and diversity. A Peer Leader is an upper-level business student that serves a vital function as co-instructor for the Warrington Welcome course. Peer Leaders assist students by serving as a peer advisor, role model, and a representative of the Warrington College of Business. While serving their fellow students, they gain skills highly valued by employers and graduate schools. #WhyWeWarringtonWelcome
