The Washburne tradition produces graduates who are well-rounded individuals ready to work in Chicago’s most successful restaurants. The restaurants Sikia and Parrot Cage are both operated by Washburne. Sikia is a fully functioning dine-in restaurant that is staffed by Washburne culinary students. The Sikia curriculum allows students to gain hands-on experience both in the kitchen and front of house.
