The Washington, DC Chapter of THE ROCKS, Inc is a professional developmental and mentoring organization. The mailing address is PO BOX 47435, Forestville, Maryland, United States. The Washington, DC Chapter of The ROCKS, Inc. provides mentorship, scholarship, fellowship, and special orientations to the National Capital Region ROTC Cadets, active duty or reserve component commissioned officers, and active duty or reserve component warrant officers. The organization is also dedicated to assisting and incorporating retired, or former active duty and reserve component commissioned or warrant officers in supporting our mission and activities, as well as those of the National Board. The ROCKS Vision To be the premier mentoring and networking organization to strengthen the US Armed Forces Officer Corps. The ROCKS Mission The mission of the ROCKS, Inc. is to strengthen the Officer Corps by serving as a world-class organization that provides and promotes mentorship, scholarship, networking, professional development, and fellowship to leverage outreach opportunities and maximize talent across the U.S. Armed Forces. Our Core Competencies -- Mentorship and Professional Development -- Leadership Outreach and ROTC Enhancement -- Scholarship -- Community Involvement/Outreach -- Networking The Chapter meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday every month (except July) at 1830.
