About Washtenaw Area Council for Children
Washtenaw Area Council for Children (WACC) is the Michigan Children's Trust Fund designated agency for the prevention of child abuse and neglect in Washtenaw County. The mission of the Council is to prevent child abuse and neglect through educational services and programs to children, parents, community members and youth-serving professional throughout Washtenaw County. WACC partners with children, youth, and families, bringing high quality educational services directly to its clients. WACC offers a Safe Sleep program, Body Safety Training program, Cyber Safety and Cyber Bullying Prevention program, Stewards of Children program, and an education series.
