About Wastenot Farms & Jocelyn's Soil Booster

Wastenot Farms Inc. is a regenerative agriculture company that has been transforming organic waste into natural soil additives since 2013. Our mission is to keep organic waste out of landfill, instead transforming it into products that benefit plants, people and our planet. Collected food waste is fed to about a million worms (and growing) on a farm near Orangeville, Ontario. The worms’ manure, known technically as worm castings, is sold as Jocelyn’s Soil Booster Worm Manure and is also the foundation of our other regenerative growing products, like Canada’s 1st climate-friendly potting soil: Jocelyn’s Soil Booster Raw & Regenerative Potting Soil. Our Jocelyn’s Soil Booster regenerative growing products inoculate soil with a diversity of biology so that plants can work with nature’s natural microbial workforce to access the nutrients that they need. These microbes provide on demand nutrition based on the plants’ particular needs, rather than force-feeding a select few macronutrients that are found in chemical fertilizers. Nurturing the life in your soil not only grows thriving plants, but produces food that is healthier because it is more nutrient-dense and it helps lock carbon in the soil as a solution to climate change. Gardening in alignment with the earth’s natural systems is called “regenerative agriculture” and we believe it is the future of healthy food, healthy people and a healthy planet.
