It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to write the LGBTQIA+ story you never saw growing up. Maybe you want to turn your lived experience as a genderqueer person into something more. Maybe you have a nonbinary character who's been living in your head, waiting to share their story with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell authentic queer stories can make all the difference. There are thousands of stories out there, but authentic LGBTQIA+ representation is what's going to separate yours from the rest. Now, more than ever, we need to tell our own stories in our own voices. If your characters don't feel real to you, or your story doesn’t quite land right, that's a good sign you still have more work to do. That's where we come in! Wayward Writers specializes in authentic LGBTQIA+ story development, character creation, editing, story outlines, and ghostwriting services. We aim to help you navigate your creative blocks however we can, and allow you to find your own direction. Our team of queer, disabled, neurodivergent creatives want to help your stories find their way to publication, and we work directly with queer publishers focused on giving a platform to transgender, intersex, nonbinary, and genderqueer authors.
