About We Are Parable

We Are Parable is an award winning film exhibition company founded by Anthony and Teanne Andrews. We provide audiences around the UK with opportunities to respond to and experience Black cinema in culturally relevant, memorable and innovative ways. We do this by screening upcoming, cult and classic films that celebrate Black culture on screen, whilst creating truly unforgettable experiences. Since forming in 2013, we have worked with prominent filmmakers including Spike Lee, Ryan Coogler, Amma Asante and Idris Elba. We’ve also partnered with the likes of British Film Institute, Film London, Picturehouse Cinemas, Entertainment One, Studiocanal and Republic Films. There are film events.
