About We Buy Books
We are a family owned company, in business since 1998. Initially we sold antiquarian books, specializing in children's titles. Gradually we started acquiring books from universities and research companies from around the country and learning about technical books. We were deeply disturbed as we saw entire libraries being dumped in landfills, so we narrowed our scope and set out to help save chem/sci/tech weeds and discards otherwise destined for the dumpster. Although we are physically located in the northeastern US, we serve corporate and private libraries nationwide.
