About We Can Be
We Can Be is a new platform that helps girls aged 6–16 see entrepreneurship as a possibility for them. We make entrepreneurship feel possible, exciting and fun - through inclusive books, practical tools, and friendly digital coaches that build real-world skills like confidence, creativity, financial literacy and problem-solving. Because right now: • 81% of young people in the UK can’t name a single female entrepreneur • 63% of girls aged 11–18 say they’ve never even thought about starting a business • Only 26% of students leave school with any financial education These aren’t just stats - they’re missed potential – and missed opportunities to break the cycle. We Can Be is about changing that story. It’s about showing girls what’s possible, giving them the mindset and the tools to try, and helping them build the kind of future they want to see - whether that’s running a business, leading a team, or solving everyday problems in their community. Because when girls see what they can be, they start to believe they can be anything. They take up space. And that’s exactly what the world needs more of.
