About We Free Women

Selfcare is a buzzword that resonates with many of us, but it is also a luxury that most people do not have the time or money to afford. There are millions of women out there who are struggling, whether it be financial difficulties, menopause, single mothers caring for children, troubled teens & some caring for elderly parents too... it goes on and on... Spinning plates, juggling childcare, work, running a home and with the cost of living crisis, it can feel impossible for women to make themselves a priority financially, timewise and whilst dealing with their many responsibilities. Wellness retreats offer people some rest, a chance to grow and to focus and look within themselves with the help of wonderful therapies, nourishing food and calming surroundings... a chance to be free and be themselves. With so many women not able to afford such luxury, we've been inspired to launch fully funded retreats and wellbeing experiences which will be free... Our hope is to turn this into something bigger, to host free retreats for women across the UK. We set up this Community Interest Company and fundraising initiative as lots of people and companies have been in touch to say they have nothing to offer but they would like to donate... this is a movement... any funds donated will be used towards the retreats and ongoing support to women in need.
