About We Got Game Academy

We Got Game Women’s Football Academy is for first nations women (but not excluding non-first nations women). Our program aims to build confidence and skills during the West Kimberley Football League (WKFL) Season and to provide ongoing training, support, and self-development when the football season is over, the Academy recognises that this is a vulnerable time of year for First Nation people in the Kimberley. We Got Game Academy was created out of a strong passion, a shared vision, and a ceaseless commitment to making learning easy and accessible. Since established in 2022, we’ve had the opportunity to train several women and help them to acquire foundational skills, develop new techniques, and confidently move forward in their Football journey. “We Got Game” is a football training academy that teaches football fundamentals and strong decision making in a positive environment where progress is the focus of every session.
