About We Teach Drama

We Teach Drama is an eCommerce company which creates and delivers innovative, high-quality training and resources to drama teachers. It is a well-organised, curated platform and is based on the idea that teachers never stop learning and developing as practitioners. The Founder and Director is Lucy Bellingham- a teacher, examiner and consultant who has worked within drama education for over twenty years, in both the private and state sector. With the tagline ‘Train, Learn, Inspire’, it provides inspiration and support for drama educators at all levels, but mostly focuses on secondary level drama (11-18 year olds), with many resources and training aimed at GCSE, A-Level and BTEC teaching. Our resources and training can be accessed by teachers at any stage of their career, from early career drama teachers, to those who are more experienced. CPD is online, subject-specific, with key takeaways and a strong focus on developing subject knowledge. Some resources can be shared directly with students, especially online CPD and courses. All resources are downloadable. Our courses and resources are creative and unique in both form and content. Our resources and training save teachers time and offer training within a focused timeframe, with online courses being flexible to fit around busy teachers lives. The idea is that training can happen on a daily and weekly basis- small tweaks to practice can make a big difference to student outcomes. Our services will help drama teachers to build confidence and knowledge in their practice so that their students can achieve, perform, devise, create, evaluate, and write confidently in drama.
