I'm Dr Eleanor Ward, and I am an experienced tutor in the Congleton area, and run Wealth of Knowledge Tuition. I tutor English and the Humanities including history, geography, religious studies, sociology, politics and philosophy at all levels throughout Cheshire and into Staffordshire. I particularly specialise in students with special educational needs, and have a Level 2 Certificate in SpLDs. To briefly explain a bit about myself, I have a PhD in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Manchester, and have MSc in Medical Humanities, as well as a first class honours degree in English. In my spare time I like to knit and crochet as well as being a keen national trust member. I teach very flexibly, and always adapt my lessons to the individual needs of the student, making sure we focus on the curriculum, while also concentrating on the weaknesses and strengths of the student. I have enjoyed watching my students grow in confidence and ability over the time I have been teaching them, as well as vastly improving their grades! I'm friendly and approachable and work together with the student and the parents to achieve the desired outcome of the sessions. I am flexible in what we can study, I cover all ages, and can also help with university applications. I have a DBS certificate and can provide references if needed.
